Brent Corrigan Where To Find

Italian driving, constant danger

An English that reads: "When in Rome do as the Romans do", that is, when you are in Rome do as the Romans do. Yes, but not with regard to driving behavior.

An article in the Economist paints a bad picture of Italian: anarchist, ignorant and disrespectful of the rules.

The images of abuse of rhetorical or klaxon horn out the window displayed during reckless overtaking are a classic cinema, but the problems caused by improper driving really exist.

The number of injuries on Italian roads is 5 times higher than that of the wounded on the French roads and the number of fatalities far exceeds that of many other European countries.

Apparently the rest of Europe's motorists are more accurate and can afford to point the accusing finger towards the Italians that we need to tighten the pains of our rules of the road to bring some 'order.

I am reminded of a Disney cartoon of the 50s: the main character Goofy, a calm and relaxed, when the wheel turns into a monster bully others (especially pedestrians). An unruly driver who never learns the lesson. We hope this is not our case.
